Product Description Wouldn't this make a great gift for a student, or a commuter? The machine brews right into the thermal travel mug and then shuts itself off, so your favorite coffee lover can simply grab and go!Great for commuters, office professionals, and one-coffee-drinker households, this personal coffeemaker brews 15 ounces of coffee directly into a stainless-steel travel mug. The mug has a rubber handle for a safe grip and a lid to keep coffee hot. It's tapered to a 2-1/2-inch-diameter bottom, so it fits most vehicle cup holders. The coffeemaker itself is designed for an on-the-go coffee drinker. It has a permanent filter--no messy disposable paper filters required--and shuts off automatically after brewing. The mug, filter, filter basket, and mug lid are dishwasher-safe, and the coffeemaker can also be used to heat water for tea, hot chocolate, and instant foods like oatmeal and soup. Made of gleaming black plastic, it measures 9-3/4 inches high, 7 inches wide, and 6 inches deep, and carries a one-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

great coffee September 6, 2010 georgia in tennessee 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is an excellent one cup coffeemaker. One key to good coffee is heat and this product brews hot. The mug (included) keeps it hot for a long time. You can't beat this price, especially when compared to the other one-cup coffee makers out there which are over $100!! Others noted problems with spillover and this is not an issue if you use the mug itself to fill.

I really like this product. It is a way to brew coffee to the strength I prefer. It also gives me the one cup a day that doctors say you should limit yourself to. Easy to use and maintain.
Money well spent, and saved! September 3, 2010 P. Watson (Atlanta, GA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is one of the best kitchen appliances in years at a very reasonable price. I've spent a fortune buying coffee on the go. After deciding to save some money I bought this and have done just that. The Brew 'n Go and 2 lbs of Maxwell House were less than I was spending in two weeks buying out. I'll replace it every year if I have to, as I'm the only Java drinker in the house. I couldn't seem to manage the larger pot makers as well, I'd make too much, etc.
Coffee is done to the perfect temp in 3&1/2 minutes, it easy to clean and the mug is great to go. Money well spent and saved
Coffee quick and easy on the run September 3, 2010 Keith Flury Not much to say . I set it up the night before get up turn it on then get dressed. On my way out I add my cream and sugar and roll out the door. Its quick. No wasted time or money. I like this coffee maker.

I bought mine in late 2004. I can't even remember where. It's still going strong. The permanent filter has some fraying, from cleaning, but other than I noticed it, it's not an issue. Every morning while getting ready I start it just before my final bathroom touch up, when finished, I add creamer, snap on the lid, grab my purse and head out the door. It sits in my cup holder and stays warm for the one hour commute. I highly recommend this coffee maker. When mine stops working I intend to buy another. Be careful, if you're sleepy you might forget to put the mug under the brewer. lol I've also forgotten to put the coffee in the basket. I've forgotten to take it altogether, and spent my commute thinking of my delicious cup of coffee, sitting on my kitchen counter without me. :(
